What is Hair Botox?
Despite the name, Hair Botox has nothing to do with injections. It is a deep conditioning and repair treatment for the hair itself.
Rather than sealing the cuticle flat the way a smoothing treatment does, it works on the damaged, porous gaps along the hair shaft. The result is hair that feels thicker, healthier and much softer, without changing how your hair naturally sits.

Hair Botox vs Keratin Hair Treatment
The two are often talked about as if they are the same. They do different jobs, and neither is better than the other: it depends on what your hair needs.
Hair Botox
Condition and repair. Softer, healthier-feeling hair with your natural texture kept. Does not straighten.
Keratin
Smoothing. Less frizz, more gloss and much faster drying and styling, especially in humidity.

Does Hair Botox straighten the hair?
No. Hair Botox does not straighten. Your natural shape, movement, curl and body stay as they are; the difference is in how the hair feels: softer, healthier and with more shine. If reducing frizz and styling time is your main goal, Keratin is usually the better fit.
Hair Botox for blonde and coloured hair
Order matters: colour first, treatment after, and always with enough time between. Katie plans this with you rather than treating them as two unrelated bookings.
In Katie's experience it is particularly good for blonde clients, because repeated lifting leaves the hair porous, and porous hair loses toner fast. Pair it with your balayage or blonde maintenance, and Katie will advise on timing for your hair.
The appointment
Every appointment starts with Katie assessing your hair's condition. A Hair Botox treatment takes around an hour to ninety minutes, and there is no need to come back the next day.
Results and longevity
Results typically last around six to ten weeks. That is a guide, not a guarantee: your hair, routine and aftercare all play a part. Book your top-up before the results have fully faded.
